Hi Folks,

I have a 1964 Winchester 94 in 30-30. It has a Redfield rear peep and it's missing the peep disc.

There are no markings on the outside of the main body or the L bar. I have pictures of the outside and will remove it from the gun to check underneath.

I've searched the internet for anything but have only come up with the Redfield 75 and olympic, lymann and williams.

Thanks for any help you can provide.

I checked the book, and found nothing with those letters for a code. You may have to take it totally apart. If you find any more letters let me know and I will check in the book again.

Just done some more looking in the book, in the fine print. There is a listing for this Redfield, with the prefix MS,TR ,or RE,with the DEFOM.It is listed for a SMLE # 4 or #5 adapter plate ,Jungle Carbine.Listed from 1965-72.Probably that is what it is ,and somebody put it on,as it fits.Hope this helps.

Thanks RC. There is no other markings or stampings anywhere. I had it totally apart and cleaned it up. It fits great on the rifle but it's missing the peep disc.

The aperture isn't a problem. The thread on US made peep sights is more or less universal. Check Brownells.
