For rabbit hunting, a modified choke is generally recommended for a 12-gauge.Hello
So, I’m going to be buying a 1301 tactical soon and have no idea of what chokes I need.
I’ll be using it at the range ,slugs and double aught buckshot.
Maybe a rabbit or grouse…maybe lol
Thanks
Full for Rabbit in a 410 but in a 12 modified generally works reliably. For rabbit and grouse you may want a full choke as well, but stick to lead shot.
Great chart.
Will any make of auto part, fit any make of automobile? Shotgun chokes are no different, the manufacturers use different styles and threads, and although there is some overlap, there are many different styles/sizes, and you need to buy the correct choke for your shotgun.will any make of choke fit any make of shotgun?
Out west we have to make some long shots for both rabbit and grouse, where a full choke is most useful. Can't go wrong having them all.Full for Rabbit in a 410 but in a 12 modified generally works reliably.
The Gen 1 1301T doesn't have removable choke & some people found the action release problematic. Thanks , I think have a good understanding of what I need now.
I’ll probably pick up a few extras and experiment with them as well.
I’m still researching if the mod 2 is much better than the gen 1,I’m pretty sure it’s going to be the mod 2
