Not having much luck finding crown lands in the area of Welland. Is there a site out there that will give me maps and other much needed information.

There's pretty much no crown land in southern ontario. The best bet for you is to look at some of the provincial parks along the lake erie shore, including long point as well as hullett marsh and luther marsh. Unless you know people in or around welland with land who will let you hunt you will not be hunting.

If you contact the niagara conservation authority and ask permission you can get a pass to hunt whatever you want in all the conservation areas that they control. There is a lot of them. Check the website. Follow the provincial rules as well as the npca guidelines and you are good to go. Not much crown land around.

I am in the same boat in st. Catharines. Let me know what you find. I am new to hunting and have all but given up on this year but for next year I'd love to take some scouting trips and try and find something in the area. I have looked at the NPCA website and it seems alright but I can only imagine how busy it gets. Pm me if you want some company.

"...no crown land in Southern Ontario..." There's lots. It's just that you have to share it with hikers, picnickers and other assorted riff-raff. A lot of it is in 'No firearms discharging' areas too.

Hell even up in Flambough there is some, Big signs say Crown land. I think they also say No hunting, but there IS crown land.

It's not crown land, it's the conservation area and there is hunting allowed there as well but it fills up quick and fast with idiots. Buddy of mine got peppered with buckshot at 30 yards while hunting there. He was wearing a flack jacket and got away with 3 broken ribs and a collapsed lung. Shooter (not a hunter at this point) got 6 months and $12,500 in fines.
