need help with a beretta please

Hello all
I have a beretta A303 that my uncle inherited and I am trying to sell for him
the barrel only seems to be marked with "beretta made in Italy" and I cannot find anything that denotes chamber size

I have tried to unscrew the cap to remove handguard, but it does not want to release. it looks like there are some locking lugs in the cap, but I don't know berettas and I don't want to force anything. I haven't been able to find any videos specific to this model to identify the barrel chamber or remove the handguard

any help would be appreciated

Prolly have to pull the bolt back before the barrel will separate....

Does your barrel have thread in chokes?

it does, it currently lacks the choke, buthte threads are there. my uncle is looking for where the chokes may have gone

thanks for the better video. I may try to penetrating oil on the nut, it may just be seized then.

The chamber length will be marked by a 70 or 76 on the bottom once you get the forend off.

either nut is siezed or there is somethin I need to do to get it to turn
