I have a completley functional Lyman 56 receiver sight. It is however , missing the small "cap screw ?" , that locks the round knurled nut in place on the vertical adjustment. It appears to be about a 1/16" sized hole , in the end of threaded post that holds the round knurled nut. This locking "cap screw", I will call it , stops the knurled knut from loosening I suppose from recoil . The screw hole appears to be approx. 1/16 " and I don't know what threads .
Could anybody give me any informative help , about what screw size I should be trying to hunt down? The Lyman 56 was used from the early 1930's up untill the early 1950's from what info I can find. I can't find a picture of the screw online , or an exploded view of the sight , showing the parts.
This might be a tough one ! Any help would be appreciated.
