Need help with a 'spare' part after cleaning 56K PIC WARNING

After cleaning my SKS I found this ring laying around and could not remember if it was a part of it, or find a place for it anywhere on the gun.

So.. you're either dropping parts from your FNC1 (Assuming you have your prohib. license) OR the firearms gods are trying to tell you something! :eek:
 
Oh, FN flash hiders... Yes! I bought a bunch of them from Tradex who sells them for $2 a piece, hoping to convert them to work on SKS. But when I tinkered with them, I never noticed a part like that. Where does it go?

Good eye BTW, determining a firearm by a tiny ring!

me too, i bot a bunch of those FH from tradex cos they are so cheap.

they are L1A1 FH , the washer sits between the FH and the muzzle .

those FH could be re-treaded to fit a CZ858 with few other mod or i heard they will fit a SKS M59/66 , it has the same thread but you would have to remove the G launcher.
