Hi Guys and Girls of the precision forum, I could use a hand with a gun I am thinking of buying.

My friend is selling his Parker Hale 1200TX (with bipod, two mags, and scope)
The iron sights are gone, and the wood has a few banged up spots. and painted.

The scope is a Springfield Armoury 4-14x56 FFP and is pretty beat up too. Scuffs, scratches on the body, but the glass is good.

What do 1200tx's usually go for?
I have not seen too many.

I will be shooting it tomorrow, and if it performs as I expect it is a sub MOA gun, (I have heard they are very accurate guns)

It's too bad he painted it. The rifle painted is probably $700-800, if it was in good shape, unpainted and shot well 900-1200. The variance on price will be dictated by blued or parkerized. Unsure what the optic is valued at as I'm not a fan of SA optics.
