Hi all - can anyone ID this sight, and what model rifle its designed for? A good friend sold me a No1 Mk3 and threw in this sight for free.....no idea what rifle its for! Also, any comments on value would be appreciated.

You have a rear target sight by "Centoral" made in Australia 303 calibrated for the No4 Enfield. It's missing the mounting plate and all the mounting hardware. Value $85 -100.

Looks like a sight for the Omark Sportco 44 7.62X51 target rifle. Missing base and hardware it would be a tough sell for $75.00 shipped. Made by Central, the o looking thing on the T is a bullseye.

These are rugged and almost indestructable sights. Most were made with .5 minute clicks while there were some done with .25 minute clicks. The last batches had 1/3 minute clicks which suited metric distances better. All you need is someone to machine a serrated mounting plate and a wing nut screw to have a sight you can mount on many rifles.

Arguably the best target sight evre made. It has a vernier, so you can see at a glance how much wind you got cranked on.

The minutes on it are smaller than the minutes on a Parker Hale. 4 PH = 5 Central.

They do not develop backlash.

All you need is a mounting plate and wing nut. An ordinary bolt will work.

Thanks for the info! Any idea where I could find the mounting plate, or is this unobtainium? =)
