Hey Gang, so i mounted my scope properly today with help,
and i have my bushnell boresighter in the barrel, and in order for me to get the crosshair to line up in the center, i have the put my MOA to...

UP 13 MOA
RIGHT 5 MOA

Its a Savage Axis
http://www.savagearms.com/firearms/model/axis

With
Burris Signature ZEE rings
http://www.burrisoptics.com/sigrings1.html#2
(and this comes with the offset inserts at +10, -10, and 0)(0 is on now)

With
EGW Rail Savage Edge/Axis 0 MOA
http://www.egwguns.com/savage/savage-edge/axis-picatinny-rail-scope-mount/

and
Sightron SIII LR 6-24 X 50 Mildot
http://www.sightron.com/index.php?action=view_document&did=1201816362&cat_id=6&id=4

And for testing, i am using
Bushnell boresighter 743333
http://www.bushnell.com/products/scopes/riflescopes/accessories/

What can i do to make this align itself to 0,0?

Go to adjustable rings, and/or adjustable base, then shim if you want 0/0.

The caps have set screws that will allow the caps to be turned so that you view the "0" settings from the rear.

~~~~~~~~~~
The rifle is not sighted-in yet, you will again not have 0/0 after sighting.
You would do better with +10 on the bottom & -10 on top on the rear.
-10 bottom & +10 on top on the front.
The inserts are designed that a + & - are required on each ring.
^This.
You want to put the +10 on the bottom of the rear ring, and the top of the front ring. Then the -10 on the top of the rear, and bottom of the front.
Then try again.
I am going to hazard a guess that your front ring is loose and the rear one is super tight.
The eccentric inserts should go as follows:
+10 on bottom rear and top front.
-10 on top rear and bottom front
That way the scope is canted up at the back and down at the front
WHAT YOU GUYS ARE SUGGESTING IS THIS CORRECT?
My original fired set-up was 0's all around.
My new set-up which I showed you was what I found to give me the closest 0 using the Bushnell bore sighter.
And last thing.
Let us know how it works for you. It is the setup I use with + & - 20 inserts to shoot .22 rimfire at 200m.
Where did you get the 20 inserts? my package only came with
4 x 0
2 x -10
2 x +10
I don't think the assortment should come with the 0, these are included with the initial purchase with the rings. I'm wondering if someone tampered with the assortment you received ???
The 20 inserts should have been in the assortment. Mine came with 2 X 5, 2 X 10 & 2 X 20.
I purchased another set of 20s separately.
