need help with my mp40.pls

Don't know any addresses, but there are printed instructions in the venerable, "Small Arms of the World" by Dr. EC Ezell or WHB Smith, Stockpole Books. Every library will have at least one copy, likely an early edition which is what you want.

-prove the firearm is unloaded
-remove the magazine
-prove the firearm is still unloaded
-with the bolt forward, pull down on the little button on the "forestock" down and twist to lock
-squeeze the trigger, with two hands, turn the magazine housing 80 or 90 degrees to the left and separate the two parts
-remove the cocking handle
-remove the bolt head from the recoil spring and housing

Are you talking about the S&W M&P 40?

1. Verifiy it's unloaded. Magazine out as well.
2. lock the slide to the rear.
3. Use the provided tool or a small screw driver to drop the sear disconnect. (If you look into the chamber you should see a hook shaped piece of steel wire. Mines painted yellow. Pull that down. )
4. Rotate the barrel lock down. (left side near the front.)
5. Release the slide and it should slide off the frame.

I had several FTF's with my new M&P 9mm, but only with my handloads and only those handloads that had CCI small pistol primers. Did up a new batch of 9mm with Winchester primers, no problems at all :)

i been trying hand load with win and feder primer bot still the same .10 out of 2 will with light strike.i been inspect those with light strike and the one fire out ,the primer in light strike .it just real light dent on primer, just why i want to try to remove the striker to see the spring.

Light primer hits on the MP-40;
Make certain the inside of the bolt is clean, a little dirt will prevent the pin from going all the way forward....
Chek the shoulders of the firing pin, make certain there are no metal burs or bits of junk stuck there....
There really is not that much to an MP-40....
