need help with my recoil pad

I just picked up a T/C Encore with 2 butt stocks, one has a factroy pad the other has a limbsaver. What kind of screw driver do you need to remove these pads?

Unless they are different than other pads, they will be held on with #1 Phillips head screws. Use a dedicated #1 screwdriver, which will hopefully have a shank the same dia. as the head. (Multi-bit drivers usually have 1/4" shanks, which will be too big for the small hole/slit in the back of the pads.) Put a little soap or dishwashing liquid on the shank to lubricate it.
