Need help with Parker hale!!

My buddy has a Parker hale 243. Win. It doesn't say what model but best I can tell it's a 1200. I would like to know are they generally drop mag or hinge floor plate? It looks like it's outfitted for a drop mag due to the fact it's missing but all the part there look like it should be hinge floor plate as there is the hinge plate release inside trigger guard (unless that's how you drop there mag, which I have never seen) and it had an internal box mag which is standard for most floor plates, but there is nothing there. I'd like to get whatever he needs to get his rifle up and running

Sounds like you are missing the detachable magazine. The release in the trigger guard is how the magazine is released.

Yes that button inside the trigger guard is for the mag release.....you need to find the box mag for it

I have the Parker hale 300 win mag super clip. Thats most likly what you have the release button is is on the trigger guard just behind the mag.
