I bought this rifle more than 20 years ago at a gunshow and have shot it occasionally. It's rollmarked Original "Jung Roland" on the receiver of the bridge and has an 11mm dovetail on the receiver and extending about a foot past the receiver/barrel junction I don't know if the butt pad was original or an option, but as it reads "Schaftkappe" I think that it was installed on the rifle in Germany. This pad increases the length of pull to 14.5 inches. Being 5'8" in height it's rather awkward to shoot, especially from a bench. After many hours spent on the internet I managed to stumble across a photo of the same model which was included in a German language biography of Willi Korth of Korth revolver fame. The author attributes its design to Mr Korth during his employ as the manager of the long since defunct firm of Hubertus Metallwerks in Moln Germany. Although this firm was know primarily for its manufacture of airguns, at some point it ventured into the production of small bore rifles. The number of rifles they produced couldn't have been substantial as I have only seen only one other example, which is listed on a German auction house website. I do know that this is the only one in Canada which is registered, because it was assigned its own FRT # which was a long and arduous process. The author of the biography was kind enough to send me copies of the literature he had included in his book but as it's written in German only the photos are of any help to me.I was wondering if anyone might know anything about these rifles or its value as I'm thinking of selling it and buying or trading for a more sporting type rimfire rifle. I have no idea how old it is but it's in great condition. However while it will extract a spent case it will not eject it. Something minor I hope.
