Need help with Red Dot

I just took one of my Red Dot scopes out to list it on kijiji, Unfortunately the scope was left on and the battery is dead.

Does anyone know how to remove the battery to replace it?

what kind of red dot? one I have has a cap that screws off the top of the dial that adjusts brightness, it is also the on and off this one takes button bateries. Another has a dedicated batery compartment which is quite obvious,

Thanks, Havent had my morning coffee and I am blaming that on not checking under the dial adjuster lol

Quarter size cover, unscrew take the round flat battery out, should be a CR-2032 for replacement... Cheers.JP
