Need help with S&W4006 take down

The Smiths have a pin to push out, much like the Browning HP.

Except with a Browning you can lock the slide back and then take the pin out. With a Smith you need three hands. One to hold the slide back, one to lift the lever and one to push out the pin.

The pin will only come out when the slide is in one position. I have done it once before, but this time I can't get it out.

Is there a trick?

Thanks for that. I found a better explanation on YouTube. He saysd he does not like the takedown either, but he showed how to do it with just two hands.

This would work with all the S&Ws that work the same way.
