need help with sig p229 and p226

is sig p226 40 cal barrel interchangeable with sig p229 40 cal if cut down to 106mm. i am having hard time getting barrel for my p229

Check out "EFK Fire Dragon" in the states. They make incrediable barrels.
I spoke to member here that has ordered from them, so I would assume they
ship to Canada, or at least have a distributor here.

i did talk to "EFK Fire Dragon" reguarding barrel and they will not ship to canada. i dont know why. i did try everything i could and i have been buying selling gun for 7 years so i have few friends in sandbox.i am down to last option. i can get sig p226 barrel and i might able to use it on sigp229. i know sig p226 barrel works on sig p228.

My understanding is that the 226 barrel is different than the 229, check out the Sigforum. Also talk to questar here.
