As some of you may know, my 6 year old daughter lost her right eye about a year and a half ago. She loves looking at things through her binos.....But has just today requested that I get her a Monocular, as she finds using the binos difficult now. So, I am asking for help in selecting a good quality one...Perhaps something with a little power, not just a fixed power.

Any thought or recommendations?

Thanks

Brad

Another Cyclops here...

Why don't you pick her up something like this one from SIR:

Tasco 10x25mm Monocular. Offered in brown camouflage, this monocular is rubber coated for durability. Fully coated optics for clarity and brightness. FOV: 345'. Weight: 4.7 oz. Length: 4.5". $11.99

Heck, it's cheap enough you can afford to have a few (one in the car, in the house, and one for carrying with you when you go hiking...).

I've been using one of these for about 15 years now and I love it.

Seems like you get a lot more bang for your buck with monoculars, not sure why, maybe cause you're only buying half the equipment and it doesn't have to be set up to work with another "monocular"?
