Hey folks sorry if this is a repeat post but I could not figure out how to search the site for specific word strings like: "CZ Over Under"...
It would pull up everypost with the words "CZ" and "Over Under".
Anyhoos I'm looking for a buget over under that performs well on the skeet/trap field and the field hunting. My research lead me to the Beretta onyx and the citori. Both a wee bit steep for my pocket book (I realize when looking at O/Us one must think about more than will it handle light and heavy loads etc). My buddy put me onto the CZ O/U line up (Canvas, Red Head, Wood ####) as the Summer 2005 Outdoor Life review of the Redhead was very complimentary (see pasted info below):
CZ O/U Redhead
Issue: Summer 2005
Price: $795

Editor's Comments
I love this gun” and “great value” were among the comments written about this fast-pointing, slick-operating O/U that not only earned our Great Buy award but came very close to winning the Editor’s Choice award over a gun costing more than four times as much! The CZ Redhead, which sells for $795, opened as smooth as oiled silk, and the stock seemed to fit everyone so well that 25 for 25 at skeet was common, even on the first round. Ejection of spent cases wascrisp and positive. The only criticism mentioned was the too-heavy trigger pull.
This gun is advertized as $1000 at wholesale sports.
I should also mention that I am left handed (right eye dominant) so I'm not sure how the stock would fit me (ie: don't want one with a right hand palm swell).
What is your folks opinion/reviews of this line of O/U's....?
Is it worth paying ~$350 extra for the Wood ####...?

Is this a budget minded alternative to the Beretta and the Brownings....?
Thank you very much in advance!
