Need info about Winchester Model 70 Laredo

Just wondering what the deal is on these ? Looks an upgraded HS stock ? CRF action ?

Not finding much info about these online exept that they came out around 96-97 and marketed to long range shooting / hunting.

It was the Winchester in house version of a beanfield rifle. Long range deer gun, basically. I had one some years ago in 7 Rem Mag, but I don't recall if it was CRF or not, sorry. Wouldn't really matter in a deer gun anyway, it barely matters in a DGR. - dan

There was a Laredo in 7 STW on the EE just a little while ago. Nice rifle. - dan

The Laredo was Winchester's answer to Remington's Sendero. Both were "beanfield" rifles. IIRC, the Laredo was pushfeed.

The Laredo was a CRF action, a variation of the Classic with a heavy barrel synthetic stock in an aluminium chassis and with or without the Boss system for finetuning the loads and reducing the recoil, the bottom metal was hinged.
