need info on a savage model 5 .22

if anyone has any info or owns one of these could they help me out. i just got it from my father who got it from his and he has no info on it, and has never used it before. i cant seem to find much on it on the net.

Here's what I got from "Modern Gun Values Book". Savage model 5 bolt action take-down repeater. Tube magazine holding 15 Lr or 17 long or 21 short. Introduced in 1936 and dropped in 1961. Also available with peep sight (model 5S)-----Cowboy
