need info on Diloon 550b

i'm starting to look into buying a 550 and i want to know if its auto indexing cause its not writen in the specs on their web site.

No it is not auto-indexing. very ergonomic system to index.

550 does not auto index.. there is a star wheel above the shell plate that you can index with your thumb if you need too...

Yeah if you need to... There are times that you don't need to index to the press... Like when you are setting up...

and it can also be looked at if you need to use your thumb... Other people index with other fingers...

There have been a couple of people that have cought a finger or thumb in a auto indexing machine and have had a hard time getting it out. Just something I thought you should know.

Press problems

A 550 B will reload anything if given the opportunity, and generally will reload as fast as any other unit. When in doubt call Dillon or send e-mail with a precise description of the problem.

As a new reloader I have recently encountered several technical problems. Dillon responded immediately and really are very helpful and experienced and can pinpoint the source of a reloading problem quickly.

They will also send to you, free of charge, all them bits to make your machine work...
