Hi all,

I've been absent of the forum far too long.

I need info on a predator caller that I read about here a while back.

As I recall, it was the shape of a large flashlight and hadremote control.
The guys who used it did well on yotes, wolves and foxes.

What is the name of that system?
Who makes it?
How much?
Where can I get it?

Thanks

A couple weeks back someone posted links on how to make your own ecaller for about $40 bucks, or about 1/10 about what youll pay for a fox pro. Id check out the do-it-yourself one first. Might save yourself a ton.

Foxpro Fx3 or Fx5

if you need one, PM 'Redfrog' on this site :)

ooooooooooooooooooooo

That's the one!
I'll check into the do it yourself...if I can make a remote bird launcher, this is also possible. Hope it is as portable and self contained.

Anyone has a link to the do it yourself caller thread ?????

Thanks all!

the do it yourself one, do it , by any chance, involve a tool box, 2 alarm sysatem speakers a, a car radio and a ATV battery ????? if so, they I'll make one (say that version on web to make a snowgoose caller... stupid of me not to cue in to use it for predators!!!!

Lots of options for home-made rigs, until you want to have the 'remote' feature. Some car stereos have it, but not much for effective range. Also limited to 'track' selection.
Tough to beat the Foxpro.

I was in WSSP a while back and this guy had brought in his new Fox Pro FX5. He was pretty pissed because the remote wouldn't work and they brought out another and it wouldn't work either. They were unable to change the sounds while it was running. Maybe a bad batch, or they weren't doing something properly.

Heres the link - I havent been able to get out for a couple of weeks, but the last time I did, I had the coyotes howling. I have figured out a way to may it remote with two FRS radios and will post that after I get it tried out. Also bought an MP3 player to use instead of the CD.

And last but not least, I have an extra speaker for sale at $14.03 plus shipping - original buyer never came through with the cash.

I just got back from the Predator Masters hunt in Arizona. It was a blast. My 10 year old shot 3 coyotes and a Javelina. We used the FOXPRO FX5 with great results.

I am a stocking FOXPRO dealer also and have plenty of FX3s and FX5s in stock. We sell Minaska Bandits and Sidewinder decoys too. I also have FOXPRO Jack-In-The-Box Decoys and a whole pile of the new and very popular Whirling Woodpecker decoys by Outfoxed Products. We're located in Winnipeg so shipping is central. Check out our site or PM me for details.

Thanks!
