Need info on Fabarm gamma o/u

not the Gamma, but I own and shoot a Fabarm STL, that I bought last year.

any thing specific you'd like to know??? as for how it was, its a GREAT gun, and i feel better than the Beretta 682s that i've shot. The STL line also includes a recoil reducer in the stock, sounds like a cylinder loaded /w silica or something when i shake the stock, which makes recoil very minimal.

yea that is nice, did you get it from TSE?

I am also interested in some of the cheaper Fabarm o/u's but I am hesitant to buy something I can't handle first. What would you say your STL feels like? (that is if it does feel like any other make of an o/u.)
 
well its imported by TSE, but i didn't get it from them, i got it from RoyalSportsman in burnaby who is a TSE retailer, they actually have a few of the less pricey fabarms o/u, pumps, semis instock as well....

the truth is i've handled browning 525s, beretta 686/682, of those i would say the 525 is probably the closest, but its kinda of a strech as i feel the Fabarm handles (for me anyways) better than all the three listed, being cheaper than 2 of the 3 is also a good thing for me...

if you have plans of wandering up to PoCo for a round of trap, let me know and i'll make sure i have the gun up there, and you can take her out for a round of clays.... but i may get upset if you hit 25 /w it before i do =) hahahaha
 
A beautiful shotgun you have there hr.

In the styling department, I find the Fabarm designs among the most appealing of the Italian gunmakers. The ALPHA, GAMMA, STL and the ASPER over/unders are really nice looking firearms.

I would love to see more of these in a "Made in Italy" segment of the market dominated by Beretta et al....

lol yea i just might take you up on that offer one day, i have my range user at po-co as well. Ill check out the royal sportsman to see what they have, thanks for the heads up.

off topic here i noticed you have a sfu ftp, i go there as well. just out of curiosity what are you taking?

thanks bubba/tozman, its a fun gun, but i still can't out shoot my buddy and his toz 34 (he owns the gun store i mentioned earlier) ... =)

the fabarm i felt when shopping, represented a really good deal, adj cheek, 8 chokes, hiviz sight, alu case, recoil reducers barrel porting.. for way less than a similar beretta/browning would have cost, and i didn't want to get anything turkish....the built in recoil reducer works quite well and allows me to shoot a whole afternoon without much complaints... the fabarm Tri-bore, seems to results in some really good patterns too

but i don't think it'll outsell Beretta any time soon, i think they lack the marketing the Beretta puts up and their following....

but end of the day it shoots quite well for me, so that's what really matters the most....
