I also did a (poor) video of me futzing through the installation. It's actually pretty straight-forward, but you need to pay attention to the directions and make sure you get the right shim tube in.
If you only watch the video halfway through, you might get the impression I wasn't impressed. But that was because I wasn't careful about checking which sere shim to use. Once I had the right one in, I was really impressed. I ended up with a 2 & 3/4 lb pull, which is as light as I would like for a field gun (you can go lighter for a bench rest gun). My 452 had a light (3&3/4lb) pull with no creep to start with, so it was a "I just want to see what all the hype is about" thing to do last Sunday because I was bored.
The end result was just fine. Light, crisp trigger, that still passed my "drop" test (whacked the back of the stock with a rubber mallet, hard, repeatedly). It's a nice mod, and I have no plans on taking it out.
And thanks, mr yodave, for making a nice, simple(ish) to install product. Siskel and Ebert give two thumbs up to your kit, and two down for my vid making skills.
p.s. Still trying to figure out how to set up right for "how to" videos, camera angles, etc. This was mostly just a practice video.
