A buddy of mine has a brass scope made by Tasco and needs some info.
I'll try to post a pic tomorrow but here goes:
-Scope is approx. 30" long and made of brass
-3/4" or 7/8" diameter:confused: and has brass threaded caps
-fine cross hair
-marked Tasco 4x15 and IIRC something about "Replica Zouave Sniper"
stamped on it
-integral mounts which have 2 screws in each, both can be moved the
length of the tube

Any idea of value?

Any info would be appreciated
Thanks

I didn't realize Tasco made this style of scope. If they are any good I'd be interested in knowing where they can be purchased and for how much.

Just finished putting it in the EE forum.
Here's some pics.

Personally I can't see these being worth much, my buddy has other ideas however

I tried a Google search and nothing
I'm actually curious as to what kind of mounts would be used?

The mounts on those scopes are really junk, and have to be mounted transverslly across the flats, or in the case
of a round barrel, quadraterally ( high tech term! :D )basicly , opposing each other.
Mounted like that , when you raise elevation you also change windage!
Plus, the mounts are not well made and come with brass screws ( at leasdt mine did)
I had a set made copying the RHO style, but the cost is fairly great.
The result however, is well worth it!

Here's the link to that DGW reproduction scope mentioned above. It's called the William Malcom

Before you enter the address into your browser, ensure that young children and those who are faint of heart not be within earshot. Once you convert from USD$, then read DGW's fine print with regard to shipping outside of the USA, customs, and finally GST, the vulgarities that will spill from your head will make Turrets Syndrome look like a headache.

HAKX

Your link to Dixie points out the William Malcolm 6X scope produced by Leatherwoods Optics. The scope above is a Tasco 4X all brass scope which can be purchased from Dixie also.
