I am trying to reduce my gun collection. There are a number of pieces that I have no idea of value. I am lucky if I know what they are.

I would appreciate it if you could chime in with a better explanation of what these are and a fair value for EE.

This is one of two 1988 Commission rifles I have. The other is what I consider the more original style, with a light metal jacket around the barrel. This one has been reworked to look more like a 1898 Mauser. Both have the .321 barrels. Both have been refurbed by the Turks. This one is marked ANKARA 1939. I cannot find the other at this moment.

This a very nice 8mm Mauser with a clear Spanish Air Force crest on the receiver. The nice thing about being a neutral country is that the Spanish rifles did not get used much. This one at in a guard house, somewhere.

This is a Snyder marked 1867, the year of confederation. I actually used this in a DCRA Snyder match about 40 years ago. I would say it is in good condition.

All I know about this Carcano is that it is a rifle (not a carbine), it is 6.5mm and that it is marked Terni.

This rifle is a real mystery to me. It is a Japanese made Mauser with an Arisaka type dustcover. It is some flavour of 8mm, but I have no idea of which. A 8mm MS does not chamber in it.

Pictures?

The Jap rifle is most likely 7.7 jap. Can't see a picture though. Its a rimless 303 British

it is siamese.

not sure about the snider. but the rest are probably $300 +/-$50 depending on numbers matching and bore condition.

+1 on the Siamese - it is most definitely a Siamese Mauser in 8x50mmR .... very little chance of finding brass for that one :( I've tried.

I would think even $250 is pushing it on that one.

Pretty close IMHO.

The Spanish Mauser is worth a bit more, $400+. They have a lot of history behind them but most people don't bother to look into it.

The Snider is a toss up. If the bore isn't pitted, maybe $600+
