Need load 357 Mag 180GR tmj

Hello,
Speer manual no. 11 lists

Speer 180 gr TMJ

H110

Starting load of 12.6 for 995 fps

Max load of 14gr for 1090 fps

Make sure you start low and work up your load.

These are for revolver loads.

Make sure you don't use data for the Thompson Contender.

Does this load not call for the trimming of brass below the normal min. length?

Yes, and No.

depends on the length of your cylinder and whether or not you seat the bullet to the cannelure or to the bullet shoulder.
If you have a short cylinder and want to use the cannelure then yes you must trim your brass shorter than spec.

The bullets are long, they make a 200 grain bullet as well, It's a very long bullet.
