NEED LOADS FOR A 25-06 115 GR. PARTITIONS

Any one could help with loads i would appreciate it, i am using 115 gr partitions with one of the 3 powders H4831, H4350 or Retumbo speed and accuracy comments will help. Thanks John.

I went up to 54 gr of 4350 in mine, but that was IMR, so I would back it off a tad and work up. 54 gr gave me 3030 fps with the partitions, and 3100 fps with 115 gr Barnes X. Best accuracy was around the 52 gr mark, however. The next best powder I found in my 25-06 was RL22, up to 56 gr with the 115 Noslers. Not as accurate, but a little faster. - dan

I used nothing other than H4831 and H870 with 115 Partitions in my 25-06 rifles. It is not hard to get 3200 fps using either of these powders, and that is plenty!

not really 25-06 info, but I shot 117 gr. Interlock BTSP's in my 25-284 Winchester with H4831sc

Hornady BTSP, 52.0 grs. H4831sc, WLR ~ 3087 fps

Should do similar in a 25-06, as internal capacity is pretty much the same

Thanks guys i have loaded some with Retumbo, H4831, H870 and have had good accuracy with all but the two best in the SS Ruger are retumbo and H4831 so some more sooting and the chrony will decide, thanks again. John.
