Need M-14 Handguard for JAE build...Anything else?

Looking at upgrading one of my m-14's.
Thinking of swapping my AKM out for a JAE.
I gave away all of my stock parts when I built the AKM.
I know I'll need a stock handguard. Is anything else required for the swap?
Who sells these?
Any available pre-painted OD?

I got my The JAE 1st gen from Wolverine.It came with a new handguard and longer spring guide retaining pin.Just had to get a scope mount.Would like to know if a troy battle rail would fit on a JAE stocked rifle?
 
Go to their website. They have all their colours listed along with options. Read it carefully because almost everything is an option and it adds up real quick. I love mine and am just waiting (3 years and counting) for their 700 stock to go into production. Lots of promises but no action.
 
Yeah, they do come with handguards.
Is any of the stock metal required for the JAE?
The metal band at the back and plate at the front of the stock handguard?
I guess I'd need to find those right?
Anything else?
 
They are drop in. They come with 2 keys that lock it in place. Ther is a tab on the bottom of the stock which you could replace with a small piece of rail for a monopod. Again an option. I don't use one myself in any case.

So a monopod is gtg on a gen 1 then?
Do they sell the rail or should I just cut and drill one?
How bout side rails om a gen 1?
