A quality barrel is so much better than a factory barrel, assuming the gunsmith does a good job of chambering and installing. There are many chamber variations to choose from for each caliber. Ask you gunsmith what reamers he has.
I am not going to mention names, but one manufactuere was outsourcing some barrel and did not want to pay more than $20 each....

I just picked up a Broughton Barrel through JW Precision, it is a thing of beauty. It is a 10 twist .308 cal, now I just have to hurry up and wait to have it put on
