Need one Magnum Research Desert Eagle L5 Semi-Auto Pistol, .357

If you're talking about the 5'' barrel, they're rare AF, even in US. There's probably not a single one in canada yet. Your best bet would be a special order through Freedom Venture.

I've got an L5 in 50AE which I am going to write about within the next month or so, it's been a long road.
It was jammomatic, problematic, pistons breaking in half POS, but now is running well.
I want to put 500 more rounds through it first though before posting. :)
 
I have an L5 in 357 Mag for sale if you are interested. Only 250 rounds through it.

I had an L5 Desert Eagle in .357 that I bought from here. Arguably the worst gun I've ever bought. I shot 50 rounds through it beautifully but on my next range visit I couldn't get it to feed a single round. When I went to clean it the paint fell off just by me smearing my thumb across the slide. Took it to a gunsmith and was told it was fine, just needed to be broken in. It was a useless jam-o-matic paperweight that I couldn't feed a round into so I sold it and never looked back. If you're really sold on getting one, Irunguns would probably be your best option.
 
These guns need a jacked bullet 158 grain and a muzzle velocity of 1250fps. My L5 runs great on Blazer Brass JHP. There is an updated gas piston Magnum Research will send you for free. It will solve any problems you may be having.
 
my XiX .44 magnum worked flawlessly from the first the round to the last one i shot.

Gotta use hot ammo, while the gun is clean with a solid firm grip to ensure proper cycling.

Nothing wrong with eagles.
