Hi guys,
I bought myself a rcbs rock chucked supreme master kit about 6 months ago as my first reloading kit and have since added a lot of stuff to it. I am getting pretty addicted to reloading precision shot for my .308 Savage 10 TR. The one thing I have been debating is whether or not to purchase a digital scale. The kit came with the RCBS 5-0-5 beam scale and it works fine I guess, I don't have enough experience to say whether it is the best or not but it works good for what I do.
I was interested in purchasing a digital scale to make my life easier and I am considering buying the Gempro 250 or the RCBS chargemaster kit. I wanted to know if you thought it was worth the money or if I should just stick with the beam scale? I don't reload massive amounts at once and I don't reload any pistol ammo either. I simply reload for precision shooting.
Thanks for the help
Pat

There is nothing wrong with the beam scale till you get more experience...especially if you don't load a lot

True, because cheap electronic scales are not so good and good scales are expensive

the gempro is a minimum imo at 320$
The fx120i is a better option at 800$ or so

The gempro will work if you calibrate it, zero it every time, and push on the plate every time you trickle a few kernels.
Looks terrible, but I can do charges to .02 grains in less than 30 seconds average. Not too bad.
