Ever see a picture of something, and go "Hey - I never really wanted one of those, but now that I see one..."
Saw a picture yesterday of a Husqvarna 12g hammer sxs that was modified into a cape gun - left bore was still 12g, right bore was sleeved to 45-70. A tang sight was installed for use with the rifled barrel.
So - any recommendations on a smith that could take on a project like that? I'm thinking that this will be the base gun:
German proof marks - dated 1917. No maker's marks.
