Need recommendations for a high end scope

I need a new scope for my 6.5 cm blaser R8 barrel (hunting rifle). I'm torn between Tangent Theta, minox or Kahles. I'm on the fence between having good turrets vs tactical scope weight. Budget around $5500 max.

What would you throw on it? I can't decide for the life of me. Shots out to 500 yards max, mil reticle. I realize I don't need a fancy scope for hunting, but its the last scope I need to buy so I'd rather have a high end quality optic that'll last forever.

Have tried most high end scopes, own and have extensively used S and B and TT in competition, both are great scopes. On the relatively slim chance(although I did) S&Bs warranty service is a pain. TT is out of Halifax and easy to deal with. TTs turret clicks are the best I have ever felt. Both have great glass with perhaps a slight edge to TT in contrast, but really splitting hairs here. They are bot heavy beasts but for what I do that is good. That said I have not used there new TT Long Range Hunter which I assume is what you are looking at.

I was researching my options over five months, asking questions on forums just made me even more confused.
I realized that I am not interested to hear from people what they have and like it how much.
I am also not interested to hear from Vendors/stores - what Brands sold the most, neither how many unhappy customers brought back for exchange or money back.
Also relying on piece price these days is false, since most believe the saying "you get what you pay for in life" ?
Well, be careful, because there is also a saying "There's a fool born every minute!"
Selling merchandise under the "Greater Fool" theory has long been used to transfer wealth from individuals too lazy, or too stupid, to do any research on merchandise they want and simply engage in impulse buying.
Sometimes it works…what's "they" got to lose?
I needed an info what are the best options for my money and I got my scope, based on guys reviews, youtube in example is a good place to start but I would send email directly.
There are at least dozen well known folks worldwide doing scope reviews for years, and they tested hundreds of scope in any price point.
I ask THEM for advise not a forum. I don't want to disrespect anybody here but money is money and it is not yours money but my money.
I got my long range target scope from EU, and these were my options:

Edit: I removed my choices of scope optics not to conflict with OP.

Check out the actual Blaser scopes. Very nice. Just a thought.

I've considered it! Theyre beautiful but are a bit too similar to my Zeiss victory V8 (even ordered the scope with the zeiss internal rail). The Tangent Theta long range hunter may just win me over. Love that it's canadian made and a company that's completely new to me (I've owned S&B, an ATACR, etc).

Most things being equal I'm with you on the TT , a proud CDN .

So you may not have found forums helpful, but that is what the OP asked and none of the scopes you listed are likely optimum for his application.

Sorry, you are right, I removed/edited my choice of optics, I meant for info only, I am not selling anything.
My reply to OP was to make a POINT ... Btw, Longbow, are you anyhow associated to any sort of sales if you feel offended about my post? Because in normal scenario this sort of comment I would expect from OP only .
Me again saying, go for advise from people who actually testing and comparing scopes.

a long range competitive shooter...That is why in my opinion often internet reviews seem to focus on pretty small differences.

I did not buy my scope from that list neither, I chose a less expensive Falcon X50 (recommended by those same folks) for my "wannabe" long range shooting with .25 air rifle. I would like to go training/practising 100-400 meters target but both powdergun ranges in my neighbourhood closed to public and for renewing memberships out for at lest 6-8 months. So my FX Impact sits in a closet a whole 2020 year.

A customer recently advised he had a lot of money to spend on a scope. He bought a Delta for far less than budget. Some very top shooters with high income use Delta.

Attended the World F class Championships in Ottawa 2017 over 400 attended some of best shooters in the world
85%+ all used
NIGHTFORCE

Yep and in PRS in 2018 it was Nightforce, Kahles, Vortex,S&B, Bushnell, TT. Which proves 2 things i suppose. They work very well for a specific application/and or a number of the shooters are sponsored.
And a bit of herd mentality by tier 2 shooters, likely in no small part due to these surveys

Now to be fair no Top shooter is going to use crap gear sponsored or not.

Not to say that Nightforce are not very good scopes, F Class though, is a sport with very specific requirements.

Always try to steer folks to trying out scopes if possible, if not, at least speak with folks who are using the scope for their specific application.

Of topic:
Unfortunately, as much as we try, the buy once cry once philosophy doesn't always work out.
I've frequented the scope section over on snipershide forums for the last 5 years. If I haven't learned anything else I've learned this one thing, that is that "ALL" brands break (even a Tangent Theta, S&B and Nightforce). I have a scope lost the Vendor in US (renamed or whatever but just disappeared) and I can send it to manufacturer but they cannot send it back North of the border cause of ITAR. Also have another magnifier, I decided to use a Canadian dealer not knowing that will multiply the turn around time. I am not interested to wait months for service returns, finally gave up buying anything related to US.
Good thing the Delta you can deal with EU manufacturers directly if anytime needed.

Having owned some of the top tier scopes (S&B, Nightforce, Steiner, TT, Kahles), I have ended up staying with the Kahles. Glass is comparable to every other top tier, tracking is perfect, reticle was superior in my view (AMR) and features were best (left side windage). The 624 is fairly inexpensive compared to its counterparts but is considered “older tech” (as is the PM2 by S&B).
