Need repair for my EOTECH 517.A65 year 2009

Batteries leaked in my EOTECH 517 and it won't power on.

I contacted EOTECH in the US and they said they don't support it anymore, nor do they have any spare parts for that model of 2009.

Anyone knows a place where they could repair it AND have parts for that discontinued model ?

Battery leaked in my 512 a few years ago an I was able to find the replacement parts on line. Here's what I found with a quick Google search.

Its really disappointing that Eotech won't provide service on older units. I almost bought a used 512 made in 2008 but then I noticed that the lens had the infamous delamination problem where you get these ugly squiggly lines that branch out from the lens borderline that distort the sight picture. I passed on buying it after I hade contacted Eotech to inquire about service and they told me I was S.O.L.

Post some pics, a can of electrical contact cleaner or a pencil eraser might fix it.

I contacted Gravel and Nordik and they won't repair it.

Might not be a complete loss , with the prices on dewats lately build up one and recover some of your money that way.

They won't repair it but you may be able to fix it with the replacement parts they sell. Thats how I fixed mine when the batteries leaked.
