need Review info on : Bushnell Banner Dusk & Dawn 3x9x40

Good :)
I bought a Tasco 3x9x32 on ebay because my bid was WAY outbided for a Legend... but today the scopes was nice, I bidded on both a Trophy and a Banner... ended winning the banner... about 1/3 the price of a new shipped, and it's Lifetime Warranty... nothing to risk.

next thing will be to buy some rings once I got the scope

The Banner 3-9x40 is intended as a light caliber center fire scope. If you are putting it on a Cooey 64 B it will work reasonably well other than the paralax is set to a 100 yds.

Well shooting at 50-100yrds mostly, will have a tasco 3x9x32 too.
But I guess the bushnell will be of better quality ?

Does the paralax really change something for 25yrs +- ? like a Tasco set a 50 for up to 100 yrds shooting or a bushnell set at 100yrds for 50yrds shooting?

Parallax error should be reasonably small, even at 9x. If you're holding the rifle correctly, there should actually be almost zero parallax error.

Really, the parallax error should be smaller than your rifle is capable of shooting. The only real side-effect is that objects closer than 100yds may appear a bit blurry in the scope. The closer and the higher the magnification, the blurrier. But I wouldn't worry about it.

What others said about paralax is quite correct. At modest ranges very little impact on accuracy if proper rifle and scope alignment is maintained by the shooter.

I've got the 3-9x40 banner on my 30-06 and does alright, in the market for a new one. Has done good for 5 years!
P of PDent, is the 30-06 considered a light caliber rifle?
