Need Sling Help

Finally has able to get the last bit-the correct sling- I needed to finish my C7 Clone project.

Can`t find any info on mounting it, however.
Does the end with the sewn on buckle go through the upper or lower rifle sling loop?

The fixed buckle end goes towards the end of the rifle. Leading edge goes down through the sling swivel and back through the buckle. Add the loose buckle and thread leading end through buckle. Then go down through the rear sling swivel. Excess goes back through the buckle on itself.

So the fixed buckle end of the sling should be on the front or top swivel(muzzle end) of the rifle when correctly mounted?
