Hello!

I'm in the market for a Benelli SuperNova but I'm looking for details on the configuration.

I'm looking to make it a fun all around gun, and have a laundry list of things I'd like it to do and features to have, with no specific single function.

- I to shoot slugs with decent accuracy out to 50 yards
- I want to fire shot and maintain a decent pattern for skeet and other flying objects...;) (This would be accomplished through a choke I'm guessing)
- I want a pistol grip/steady grip like on the tactical config
- I want tactical sights like ghost rings or other quick target acquisition sights
- I want the shortest practical barrel for the above applications for mobility in tighter spaces and to keep weight down.

So...pretty much it's the tactical configuration, but it's going to need a different barrel because I BELIEVE the tactical barrel doesn't accept chokes.

Which barrel would be the best in your humble opinions? I'm thinking the longest I would be comfortable with would be a 24" to accomplish all the above.

So is a 24" smoothbore that accepts chokes the answer? Can I pull off all the above requirements with a shorter barrel? Does Benelli offer a 20" - 22" barrel for the SuperNova, and would it work?

I'm pretty much decided on the SuperNova, so I'm going to find posts about which shotgun I SHOULD take probably not as helpful. Unless you can recommend one with the same stylish look, light weight, and legendary functionality.

Thanks!
