Need some advice

Wow you guys are nice my man took me out and showed me where my stand is, He gave me the shooting pointers at the range and a pep talk but the rest was up too me.
I love going out even if I don't get the deer just the fact that I am at a peaceful place with nothing but my thoughts to keep me busy.

Oh and being warm would help!

I just might not even care if we get a deer this year, no shortage of meat around the parents place
That is the right attitude to have, you have many more years to hunt, so this season concentrate on making it good experience for her.

Hi powder burner, everything that everyone has mentioned so far, plus one VERY important one that I'd like to add, and I speak from experience. Make darn sure that if she is to witness a kill, make your shot count and make it a good one. My wife was turned off for life by a bad shot and not a pretty scene :( and I do swear before GOD that it's wasn't by yours trully. I've been very lucky though that in spite of that, she has continued to support my sport and still prepares my meal planning for extended hunts.

Go with another couple, she may decide that weekend is not the one to learn hunting (maybe later). It's good that she has the option of another woman's company so then you can hunt till the bucks come home.
