need some help figguring somthing out.

i own a Baikal IZH-43E-1C (12 gauge side by side) the reciever looks the same as their .30-06 side by side. anyone know if the recievers are the same and i can get a .30-06 set of bbl's and use them with my gun. (or their .308 or .223)

any help would be great.

There's no mention of extra shotgun barrels on their site. I doubt their shotgun would handle the pressures of a .30-06 either. Even if you could get the barrels.

Dig around online and see if you can find some exploded parts diagrams of both.

I'd almost be willing to bet that the rifle has extra locking lugs built into the action.

Doubt that you'd be able to get a decent fit without having a go at the new barrel set to fit it properly, either, but yo never know...
