Need some Help from the H&K fans here, Need an HK sling for my SL8-4. I have searched till my eyes bleed and can't find a damn thing in stock. If someone can point me to a decent sling for the SL8 I would very much appreciate it. I am just looking for a standard 2 point sling, it is just for the range or carrying on the farm for coyote hunting, I am not going to be storming embassies or going on long range patrols ;-) I would like a quality HK Sling as I have dropped $2k on the rifle and I would like an HK Sling to go with it, not a knock off. Someone here has to know a good place to get one in Canada, but they seem to be made out of unobtainium.

HKParts do not ship any item internationally for any reason, no exceptions. I guess I could go through an exporter but I am wondering how much that would drive up the cost.

Ask the exporters, they can give you a conclusive answer.
Or you can just get many many quality aftermarket slings such as a BFG Vcas(like mine), or a ferro slingster just to name a few.
 
You're going through an awful lot of trouble and expense just to have a regular sling that probably won't even say HK on it.

I would just buy a quality aftermarket sling, it will be more comfortable, work better and probably cost less.

Sorry, some days I'm just too practical for my own good. $2k is not enough of an expenditure that I would worry about something like matching logo's.
I've owned 3 HK SL8's over the years, great rifles and very accurate. I found them to like Nosler 60gr projectiles, my rifles and a couple SL8's owned by friends of mine have all liked 60gr Nosler's and have shot them 1 moa or better quite consistently (I load them over CFE223).

Go to HKPRO and look around, you should be able to find one? Try German Gun Works?

Does HK sling even exist? You might be confused by the fact people like to call them "HK sling" but it's simply just a sling with a hook attachment.

There is a G36 sling but it's essentially just that. A simple adjustable sling with a QD buckle at the front end and HK hooks at both ends.

I'd personally prefer just about any other popular sling instead.

I bought one years ago that I was told was HK but it just looks like a regular 3-point with the hooks. I've got a 2 point that looks like the same material with the same hooks. Definitely nothing special.
 
i bought mine of EE on here.nice wide 3 point sling for the SL8.
i am that impressed with how it is,i have just got my 2 remington 700s converted to use the same sling
