i purchased 100 rounds of 45 cal .425 hornady flex tip bullets for my 45-70 i figured out that .452 will not work in the 45-70. my question is are these .452 diameter bullets the same bullets used in the .50 caliber muzzleloader with sabot of corse.
need some help guys

You mean a 50 cal. sabot to accomadate the .45? I believe they would work. Take 1 into a gunshop with those sabots. Try em out.

The .452 bullets you have will definitely work in a 50 cal muzzle loader with sabots, you may have to be careful with the tip loading them. I use 300 grain .452 Hornady XTP's with a sabot in my inline ML.
