Hey Guys...

My first .22 when I was 14 was a Lakefield Mossberg bolt .22 carbine..
It was magazine fed and had a plastic folding fore end.. I traded it many years ago ,still kicking myself and then it was stolen from the guy, so no way in getting it back...

I know,, the old sob story...

Any help in identifying this rifle would be great,, I want to replace it hopefully...

Thanks in advance...

The Mossberg you look for can be a 152K, or 352 K. I have a 152k had a 352k( sold it...kicking my butt) and there are still a few around. depending on the year, quite collectible right now as are the 151M-351M. series. very accurate , well made guns.

The 152 series were made about 1930s with the forend being a wood fold down. The 352 were made in the 60s with the black plastic fold down forend.

Hey Guys...

Thanks for the Info.. Very helpful...

I've done some looking around...
The 350 series are autoloaders.. Mine was a bolt action..

Closest thing I could find was the 342K

The 642K is very similar too but I don't remember mine being as robust and a little long from what I can remember...

I had a pretty decent scope on it,,we use to take it down a couple of fields away and plink in a farmers garbage dump (One of those farmer's dumping grounds where they just heave stuff over the side of the hill) from across the creek.. Had nice little set up there and would shoot for hours at old buckets or whatever..Was Awesome because there would be new stuff to shoot at all the time..

We put dozens of bricks of .22 into that pit...

And Yes,, they were a very accurate little .22 and fun to shoot...

Thanks guys,, Mystery solved as far as I'm concerned...
