Need Some help measuring out FFFG

Hey Guys,

I don't have a 20Grain Volume measure (I know, I'm stupid ) and I need to load a BP revolver for a Demonstration at the range tonight.

Can anyone tell me the Weight in grains of 20 Grains of FFFG Goex? I can go 20-30 grains but 20 would be Ideal.

This is a test, right?

20 grains of FFFG weighs "20 grains".

Just weigh it on your powder scale.

20 grains by volume is not necessarily 20 grains by weight, but it won't be off enough in this case to matter.

In a pinch, I've reduced the volume of a volumetric powder measure with a plug made of styrofoam and that works OK for short-term use. (play with it until the volume throws the weight that you want)

Plan-B would be to take something like a .45ACP, 38 Special or .9mm case and check what weight it will throw. If it's close enough, solder a chunk of thick copper wire to the empty casing to fashion a handle and voila! there's your volumetric powder measure.

Ritchie I noticed the " CAN GO 20-30GRNS." I hope you aren't leaving an air space!!!
Black has to be loaded tight. If you have reloaded before and this was just a misrtead by me so sorry. If you are leaving a gap between the bullet and the powder sorry you.

If it's any help, a .45 case holds 22gr FFFg
