Need some info on .338 lapua mag

I was wondering if someone had a data base that might have some info on a 338 lapua mag load I have been using.

Loads info: 84 gr of IMR 4831
225 gr Hornady SST bullet

I don't have a Chrony so I was wondering what the muzzle velocity might be. I know every rifle is different but if somone could give me a ballpark figure it would be greatly appreciated. The load is super accurate out of the gun and I would like to know the approximate flight path.

I'd guess 2600-ish fps, based on my load manuals. But you're quite correct, every rifle is different. Barrel finish, twist, lenght, chamber and a zillion other factors add up. I've seen loads off by almost 300fps of what the manual predicted. Really, you should spend the $150 and get a chrony. And $9 for a cheap camera tripod from SuperStore.Very well worth it.

my manual says 83.2=2800 and 86.1=2900
I agree buy a chrony there worth it
