Not sure what all the letters mean......RC and the like on their levers.
Someone wish to s'plain it to me? :)
There are other short cuts as well.
Thanks.
Looky.

Looky,

The RC models were for Roman Catholics only. Like RC Cola for example. As for the other abbreviations, I have no idea. Probably for use only by the other denominations. ;)

They stopped making the 336SC, I think, and made only full-mag models. They were 336C (for Carbine) until they added the crossbolt safety when they became 336SC (Safety Carbine?). The 336A was once a 24" barreled rifle, later a no-frills carbine. The 336T (Texan) had a straight-grip stock.

Dont worry about the new ones so much. I had a lemmon, replaced it (exchanged at the dealer) and got a beauty. Just work the action and insist on running some cartridges thru it before taking her home. I've had 4, 2 old, 2 new including the lemmon. My new GBL is my favorite bush gun and will be with me for a long long time.

All I know is I keep getting them then selling them and kicking my self in the hind end with the heel of my foot.....Maybe a baseball bat to the head might help. I love my Marlins but the seem to growing up and leaving the nest.
