Need some more M4 clone reviews and reports !!!!!

I haven't shot my canuck operator yet, but without shooting it, I can tell you:
The fit is excellent. The bolt is smooth as butter, I like the ghost ring/fiber optic sights, and I think it's a steal so far for under 800 all in.

I dont like the stock, you have to depress the adjustment button and kind of wiggle it before it will unlock and move the stock.

Will update when I finally get to shoot it

Got one it was a jamomatic
Sent back was told it has zero issues
It was supposed to be sent back weeks ago and still haven’t seen or heard from the company

Great gun. I’ve got about 200 target loads and 50 slugs through my second one. For the price you can’t beat it. No way I can think of a better use of 700$. I’ve had two so far because a friend liked it so much he bought it off me on the spot. I let him take it and picked up another one the next day.

It doesn’t like cheap target loads but show me a semi-auto shotgun for 750$ that does.

I’ve got a TRS-25 and some misc parts from Brownells including charging handle and light mount. It’s marked for 3” shells so I took out the plug and ribs to fit more rounds (mine is the first version).

True but my $950 Beretta A300 feeds and cycles every cheap, light 12 gauge shell I have run through it.

It’s not hard to cycle a whopping 3 rounds lol.

I didn’t mean to imply it won’t EVER cycle garbage target loads, it just won’t cycle them out of the box without a break in.

I didn’t see an A300 in John Wick. Can I ghost load the A300? Does it have a Picatinny rail for my red dot and what kind of flashlight mounts are available?

Who all has the newer models, what’s different between the 2 ?

Komando P4 is marked with a 3” chamber but limited to 5 rounds of 2 3/4”, has a U-notch rear/fibre optic front sight and chrome-finished metal trigger and bolt release.
Canuck Operator is properly limited to 5 rounds of 3”, has a ghost ring-style rear sight but same front fibre optic sight and black metal trigger and bolt release.

I believe you can go by the name to determine which stores are selling which version. I believe everyone selling the older version still advertises them as the Komando P4.

If you can get the older version at a good discount I wouldn’t hesitate to take the deal. It took me less than an hour to fix the mag limit, I’m using a red dot so I don’t care about the rear sight and you can’t see the colour of the trigger when you’re shooting it.

I got a Kamando P4 and so far it's been great. I got about 200 shells through it and I've tried target loads and buckshot everything has cycled no malfunctions.

I did buy a GG&G M4 slotted handle and that broke within 5 rounds...

But overall it's great for the money.

Details, man , don't just leave us hanging. lol

You'll need your wife's hairdryer, a 7 or 8" round file, a 16mm socket (actually I don't remember exact size, it's gotta fit tightly into the mag tube) a long socket extension and a hammer.

Disassemble the shotgun and unscrew the mag tube from the receiver. You will need to heat the area where the mag tube meets the receiver for a few minutes and then it will unscrew easily by hand.

Keep the red aluminum follower, mag spring but discard the red aluminum end cap that sits against the 3 ribs in the mag tube.
Use the file to remove as much of the 3 ribs as you can. Note that to get the file into the mag tube properly you will have to remove a bit of material from the end of the mag tube where the cap screws on. For some reason they've tapered it here. I did this on a bench grinder to save time but you could do this with the file as well. Clean up the threads because the cap has to screw back on. Cold blue any exposed steel to prevent corrosion.
Once you've got most of the ribs removed, drop your socket down the mag tube and see if it slides freely over the ribs. If it doesn't, go back to filing. Once you've got it so the socket kind of passes the ribs, use the long socket extension and tap it a few times with the hammer. It should round out any tiny imperfections. Don't go crazy hammering, you will end up with a socket jammed in your mag tube. Do 99% of the work with the file.
Once the socket passes freely, drop the follower in and make sure it also passes freely. You don't want to half ass it as you will end up with an unreliable gun.
Blue what you can. Clean out the mag tube and make sure it's free of filings. My final wipe through I put a tiny bit of oil on the rag.
Reinstall the spring, follower, mag tube into the receiver and check the function with snap caps. Remember to heat the receiver back up before you screw in the mag tube because there's still thread locker in there and you want it soft before you re-install.

It should now fit 7x 2 3/4" in the tube + 2 for a total of 9 rounds.
Note that I don't have 3" shells to test, it's entirely possible this is illegal. If you can fit a 6th 3" shell the above is against the law.

I did buy a GG&G M4 slotted handle and that broke within 5 rounds...

I got this one from Brownells. It's made by Nordic Components. It's oversized but not comically so like the GG&G is. Not only is it a good size but the shape places your finger further away from the receiver which eliminates the chance of snags. Recommended.

I’m currently developing a “freedom fighter” style M4 charging handle, hope to release details on this soon. It will strike a middle ground between girth and practicality.

I've got 160 of the cheapest, ####tist low brass target loads through my P4 Kommando. Zero functionality failures. Trigger is nice. I'm plenty happy with my purchase.
