I'm not a revolver expert, so I hope I might get some quality feedback on these two S&Ws I have. You know what they say about experts? An ex is a has-been and a spurt is a drip under pressure! :d

One is a 19-3 .357 which appears to be 1970 based on serial # and the other is a model 14 K in .38 spc. which lands in the 1959 serial # range and double action which I believe makes it a K38 target masterpiece? both have target hammers

They were owned by a well known hunter/safari/explorer type gentleman in SW Ontario, and gifted to me by his son.

I don't really know what they are worth, and feel that they would be enjoyed more by someone who has a history with these types of revolvers, so I would like to hit EE with realistic ask prices. I also have quite a bit of ammo from the same era, that I would appreciate some guidance on pricing (pics in google drive link above)

I have done the obvious google research, but these were produced across a fairly vast range of time.

Appreciate the feedback.

You have a lot of pictures ,I find hard to figure out, one or two good is better.
I sold a exc K38 6 in few month ago for $700.oo, but that was to along time good customer, masterpiece should have a target trigger as well. $800.oo range id vg exc.
I find the priced here are more than what I sell for.
The 19, only one I have is a 4 inch, so different ball game 800.-900.oo , I would trade a new 686 I have for a minty early 19 2or 3
I think there was a 19 sold here last week or two?
P.A. new factory ammo, 38 sp, about 20.oo/ box more for 357mag, you can't/ should not sell reloads, as you don't know what you have .
You can sell it as brass, cheap and the buyer is on there own.

Go try them , you may as well shoot that ammo, as it is a PITA to ship, not worth it.
You can't ship ammo with a gun.
some of the early stuff, if factory loaded , would be worth a bit of money, but I am not a ammo collector, just empty the stuff
My 19-2 has had a trigger job on it and the trigger is about the as the one on my Hi Standard target guns; double action, maybe 5lbs? never measured it, but smooth/ light
