Picked up an leo trade in for cheap, came with trijicon night sights but they are pretty much dead, so not much use in low light.
Even for daytime, the dots are quite small, and pretty grungy from 15 years servce.
I did pick up a standard Glock set to try out and not a fan, too much going on...white everywhere lol.
It's not a target pistol, so I guess back to 3 dots, or a bar/dot if anyone makes that.
What's a good set of 3 dot night sights that also work well in the day? And can be found easy here.

I've got Heinie Slant Pro's on my G23 with the front sight painted orange, it works well. All of my M&P's have a 10-8 plain serrated black rear and an orange outlined tritium front. They work as well or better.

I'm not a fan of three dot sights, I prefer tritium up front only - I guess that puts me in the minority...

You can make a decent set of three dot sights out of your Old Trij's with a little bit of paint, if 3 dots are how you roll.

My Beretta:

I also prefer a blacked out rear.

Another vote for Trijicon HD.

The real decision is if ya go with the $110 all white set-up, or the $179 orange front / white rear version.

Ahhh decisions, decisions ....

For faster, closer shooting I'm OK with 3 dot or a bar/dot, seems to be the best point and shoot setup. For target shooting all black....6 o'clock hold.
Something like this would be good for me, but all I see are Trij or Mepro for sale in Canada. Getting night sights out of the US seems like a dead end.

My eyes' mechanics appear to follow the concept of "one dot up front is best for fast shooting". More dots, more time I need to adjust them all on the target. Just please be advised that HD sights were not created for precise, long range shooting.

No worries, I'm thinking 15m or less max. I did my black badge over a decade ago with a 9mm Sig P220 which has the bar/dot and I kept up my shooting with it, so that it pretty much my norm for that type of shooting.
This Glock was my first gun with night sights....and I see the appeal, better to have at least one with them then none. 3 dot are newer style for me but they are OK...I'm use to them now.

I like the trijicon HD. I've used trijicon for over five years. The added bonus of the HD (meaning the orange or yellow ring) makes daylight shooting better.

Contact Trijicon, depending on year of sights, can be replaced for free.

ohhh another sights thread.
There was another one a few months back which ended in CGN WAR. Lol.
IT all comes down to personal preference so now...I will sit back and relax...
