First off I think I've spent that last week just lurking browsing through all these m14 posts haha. Anyways I'm almost done building my SA National Match EBR in a Sage Chassis, Does anyone know where I can find a Sage DCSB anywhere in Western Canada? The only place I know that carries them is Bashaw sports in Alberta and they have no idea when they'll be getting them in.... Second off this is going to be the first firearm I own that I'm putting a scope on besides my AR15 that just has an Aimpoint, so im pretty nooby when it comes to optics.... Something that reaches out to the 400-500m range thats not in the thousands of dollars range haha! Sorry for the crappy post, its my first since joining CGN.

M14.ca's Casm 6.5 fits behind the sage. I picked one up well I wait for bashaw next shipment. Kicking myself for not buying one when I bought my stock. Try posting on the EE might get lucky!

The Sadlak is the 3rd (and I hope final) mount I've put on mine. Seems like a solid starting point for what you want to do.

The Bushnell 10x is a good place to start, but it's in Mils if that matters to you.

The Sadlak mount will probably require you to mill off part of the top rail of your Sage (as with the SEI mount). You can probably fit the ARMS 18 as is, same for the M14.ca mount (although you'll have to remove your rear sight to install). You can try Armtac for the DCSB but their webstore is showing out of stock as well. As has been said, the Bushnell 10x is a good budget option for a scope or for something a bit more expensive, a Leupy Mk IV maybe?
